How We’re Keeping You Safe
Safe Scheduling:
When you call to schedule an appointment, we’ll ask you if you’re interested in telemedicine. We’ll remind you to wear a face mask to your in office appointment. If you don’t have a face covering, we will provide you with one before you enter the office; but you are STRONGLY encouraged to bring your own to help conserve our supply. All patients, family and staff are required to wear a mask while in our practice. We also advise all patients to come alone unless you are a minor or caregiver. In addition, we are asking new patients to complete paperwork prior to the appointment. Safe Waiting Area:
Our waiting room, including high-touch items such as door handles, tables and chairs, are cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout the day for your safety. All reading material and brochures have been removed from the waiting area and seating capacity has been limited to ensure social distancing guidelines.
Covid Screener:
When you arrive at our office; you will be greeted by a Covid Screener; who will take your temperature, screen you for COVID-19 symptoms, provide you hand sanitizer, and if you don’t already have a face covering, provide you a mask.
Safe Hands:
Good hygiene is essential for all team members, patients and visitors. When you come to your appointment, you will be provided hand sanitizer at the door as you enter our office. Also, while your provider will not shake your hand, they will greet you with smiling eyes.
Safe Check-In/Check-Out:
Pens, clipboards and other materials are thoroughly disinfected after each individual use. We have also designated social distancing zones at our check-in/check-out windows and throughout our office to allow adequate space between patients. In addition, a pager will be given to you if no rooms are available. You will be asked to wait outside or in your car until we page you.
Safe Exam Rooms:
While we always follow strict cleaning protocols, for added safety we have enhanced those protocols for your safety and peace of mind. Our exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each visit. Additionally, we’re scheduling visits at reduced capacity to allow for extra time for enhanced cleaning between each patient encounter.
