Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are unique blends of acids used to increase cell turnover, resulting in a reduction of sun damage and other pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles.

Are Chemical Peels Safe?

Chemical peels, when applied by licensed professionals are extremely safe and effective. Chemical peels are formulated to provide stability and efficacy. You will be instructed on any necessary pre-peel preparations (such as stopping certain topical products).

What should I expect during a Peel?

Your skin will be cleansed thoroughly and prepped for the peel. The peel will be applied one layer at a time and you will be provided with a fan for your comfort. You may experience a tingling or stinging sensation, which will only last a few minutes. After the proper number of layers of peel are applied, moisturizers and sunscreen will be applied.

What should I do after my peel?

You will be provided with a post peel kit with products to be used for 5-7 days following your peel to ensure proper healing. Your skin may become flaky and may peel a few days after your peel. You will be given detailed instructions for the peel you receive at each appointment.

What are the Benefits of a Chemical Peel?

Chemical Peels are exfoliants which remove top layers of skin to reveal smoother, younger looking skin. Peels will also lighten sun damage for a more even skin tone, and soften the look for fine lines & wrinkles.

How Often do I need a Peel?

We recommend 6 peels that are done once per month for best results.
